Choose products according to the bird’s species, life stage and existing diet. Follow each product’s directions and account for other feeds and supplements in use.

Check the product’s transition directions and observe actual consumption. Birds can take time to recognise an unfamiliar food; a change in what is left in the feeder alone does not show what each bird has eaten.

The red-factor collection includes Red Canary Egg Food, Red Canary Extruded Feed and Liquid Canthaxanthin. The egg food and liquid canthaxanthin contain canthaxanthin; each formulation has its own intended use.

Start with the bird’s species and the feed already in use. Read the vitamin information and directions for that product, taking other enriched feeds or supplements into account.

Keep the original label, close the pack after use and follow its storage conditions. Retain the batch information and best-before date if you have a question about a product.

PRO Sprint, Middle and Endurance are available only in 5 kg and 20 kg packs. Classic egg foods and extruded feeds have 1 kg and 5 kg cartons and 5 kg and 20 kg sacks. All three egg foods also have a 5 kg bucket. Each liquid product comes in a 1 L bottle.
