A focus on red-factor canaries.
MERLIVO Red Canary Egg Food contains fresh eggs and canthaxanthin. It is the colour-feeding option in our egg-food collection for red-factor canaries.
Pigment deposition takes place as new feathers develop. The timing of feather growth therefore matters when considering colour feeding; formed plumage does not change colour immediately after feeding a pigment product.
The defining ingredient
Canthaxanthin is the pigment ingredient that distinguishes this egg food within the MERLIVO canary collection.
One colour-feeding plan
Consider all pigment-containing products together when planning the routine. Use the directions for each product to establish how it belongs in that plan.
Product questions
Is there also a liquid option for red-factor canaries?
Yes. MERLIVO Liquid Canthaxanthin is the liquid product in the red-factor range. The two formats have their own preparation and feeding directions.
